Biography:

Mr. Hewitt is a graduate of Loyola College and the University of Baltimore School of Law.  He served as a law clerk to the late Hon. H. Ralph Miller in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County and has been practicing law since 1974.

A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland Mr. Hewitt has handled litigation in 22 of the 23 counties in this state including Baltimore City.

In 1994 Mr. Hewitt formed “Alternative Dispute Resolution Services, Inc.” (ADRSI).  Since that time, he has handled over 3,000 assigned mediations/arbitrations and has been selected by attorneys in the Washington Metropolitan area to handle private mediations and binding arbitrations cases involving civil disputes in the areas of personal injury, casualty claims, construction claims, fire losses and all aspects of insurance disputes.

Mr. Hewitt has been the standing Court Auditor for the Circuit Court for Montgomery County since 1999.
